A new variant of covid-19 has been detected in south Manchester.
The testing will focus mainly on these postcode areas M14 4, M14 7, M15 5, M15 6, M16 7 and M16 8.
Four cases of the Kent variant have been found in two unconnected households, testing will begin on Feb 9th.
