Good news for local film, art and theatre lovers as our beloved HOME cinema announces it’s reopening on 17th May alongside plus an itinerary of what to expect.
The independent community hub celebrating arts from every corner of the globe from foreign film to showcasing contemporary exhibits in their gallery will be finally making a return mid-May and have exciting new plans including a brand new, outdoor venue, Homeground.
Homeground will provide an outside social space for people to enjoy music, film, art, theatre, comey and more with plenty of food and drink to choose from.
Their first showings will consist of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.
Dave Moutrey, HOME’s Director and CEO, said: “It is exciting to be able to announce details of our fantastic reopening programme of exhibitions and film screenings at HOME just a week after we told everyone about our plans for theatre at our temporary outdoor venue, Homeground. Between HOME and Homeground, we promise a Summer of brilliant film, art and theatre for the people of Manchester.”
