The Vibe Manchester team set out on a month-long steps challenge to raise money for Mind Manchester.

It feels like everyone is in agreement with the UK’s third lockdown being the most difficult one yet and we’ve yet to see the end in sight. Self-isolation is affecting people in different ways whether for better or worse but we can confirm that we are in the midst of a mental health crisis caused by the pandemic.

Now more than ever it’s massively important to carry out daily practices that keep us in good shape, both mentally and physically. 

That’s why the team at Vibe Manchester have decided to begin a ‘step challenge’ in efforts to raise money for local mental health charity, Mind Manchester.

The team, (consisting of Alex, Val, Nomi, Ben and Ellie) will be walking, running, dancing or two-stepping their way through February to get as many steps in as they can – we wonder who will be victorious in the challenge!

They’ll be vlogging their progress with regular video updates that will be posted to our socials, keeping our followers updated on how the challenge is going. We encourage members of our online community to get involved in the challenge – whether it be kindly donating to the cause or doing your own step challenge for your own cause…

This is a fantastic way to get up, get out there and do something positive and healthy in support of local charities that need support during the pandemic.
