Travel restrictions begin to tighten in the UK in hopes of getting the infection rate of covid-19 under control.
Manchester Airport will be cutting its business hours for inbound and outbound flights in response to stricter travel measures. The international travel hub has been operating through one out of three terminals.
Planes arriving will be requested to land at the airport between 4.01am and 10pm daily. Flights leaving have a smaller window with hours of 7am – 5pm. A small amount of flights will be able to operate outside their designated window. The airfield will remain open however to allow delayed flights to land and for emergencies.
