The protests continue for the students and tower occupiers in Fallowfield where they faced more challenges including having their WiFi cut off overnight and attempts to have food delivered to them stopped by onsite security who confiscated the orders and prevented students from receiving them.
It took until the involvement of local MP Afzal Khan, the internet was restored in the early hours of the following morning.
It’s safe to say at this point that students have been extremely mistreated during this time of crisis and depriving protestors of their access to food and internet is an unacceptable way of “handling” the current situation.
