Sadly, the Eat Out to Help Out scheme has come to an end, but some restaurants are continuing the offer to keep their visitors visiting to maintain sustainability during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The government campaign came about in hopes to aid businesses in the hospitality sector including bars and restaurants. The city-centre has been filled with people making the most out of the Monday to Wednesday 50% off initiative. The scheme has allowed people to get a taste of normality post-lockdown while being financially conscious.
The scheme ended on August 31st, meaning the UK government no longer is providing financial aid to businesses – the business owners extending the offer will be continuing completely independently…
